Learning reflection

Course progress

Once you have completed the ‘Lesson Components’ section of the course, view the learning reflection to see how well you have absorbed the material. If you miss any questions, go back and watch the video to ensure you fully understand the material.

Each lesson has a before, during and after reading phase.

The teacher activates students’ knowledge, engages interest, states the learning goal and purpose for the lesson, and introduces the text.

The teacher aims to teach for problem solving activity by using opportunities within the text, to highlight how and when a strategic action can be successfully applied.

The teacher may sum up the learning goal, prompt for reflection and supports students to integrate new learning with their existing knowledge.

Well done! That’s the end of the learning reflection for part 4.
