Course progress
  1. Review the texts you will use for guided reading.
  2. Browse the text or section/s of text you intend to use.
  3. Identify the challenges each text potentially presents to the students who will read it. Jot down what you could do or say in order to make these particular challenges more accessible to students as you support them to apply strategic problem solving actions.
  4. Action your ideas during guided reading lessons.
  5. Reflect afterwards: What worked? Why? What didn’t work? Why? What else could I have done or said?
